Mockingbird Mining has a mission to convert energy waste into productive applications. Our purpose-built mining systems work to secure the Bitcoin network utilizing energy that would otherwise be wasted or stranded. Mockingbird is focused on aggressively growing a portfolio of sustainable hash rate at globally competitive operational costs by using a variety of ESG-conscious energy sources and methodologies to secure the blockchain.
Energy Waste into Productivity
Mockingbird Mining Company (MMC) seeks out and executes on opportunities to utilize energy waste to power Bitcoin mining operations. To date, projects include using natural gas and RNG from agricultural waste. Mockingbird is actively pursuing opportunities across a number of different energy sources to expand the operational capacity further.
Mining operations, and execution of the Proof of Work algorithm, provide the backbone infrastructure that enables the Bitcoin network to provide security, durability and consistency to the growing number of 100,000,000+ users that have adopted the system around the world.
Mockingbird Mining Units (MMU’s) are modular, mobile and robust systems designed for field deployment with multiple built in redundancies to ensure uptime of the operation. These systems are capable of accumulating Bitcoin at a material discount compared to direct purchase on the open market.

OPERATIONAL PROGRESS

Pilot Project
Mockingbird Mining successfully deployed its first pilot project of an MMU in 2021 at a site in Southwest Texas. This effort proved out the concept of the MMU system as a technically viable solution and has been successfully hashing ever since. We will be implementing further upgrades in Q2 of this year.

Development Phase
Mockingbird is planning three phased deployments in Q2 of 2022 that will see the startup of projects in Texas, Indiana, and Kanas respectively. Each project offers a globally competitive cost basis and affords significant runway to enable the company to grow as we develop each of these opportunities.

Operational Scaling
We are pursuing opportunities to expand Mockingbird’s operations into other areas around the country. Throughout, we will continue to be focused on delivering >98% uptimes.

The Mockingbird
The Mockingbird is a hard working and industrious species that has the ability to master many different languages. They continuously develop their skills to increase their range of capacity and often learn as many as 200 different songs over the course of their lives. This ability to adapt and evolve was arguably one of the key observations that influenced Charles Darwin’s work. Although they are smaller in stature, they are strong, fast and will fiercely defend their position against much larger adversaries. The Mockingbird is the state bird of Texas.
